Soha Ali Khan shows back to Olympic run

Bollywood actress Soha Ali Khan was supposed to be one of Olympic torch bearers. But she has opted out of the Olympic run citing ‘very strong personal reasons’.

Soha personally supports Olympic Games and is in favor of running with the flame but has walked out of the cause for some personal reason which has not been clarified by her. She was initially a part of the relay with actor and brother Saif Ali Khan and her Rang de Basanti co-star Aamir Khan. But when time came to turn her words into deeds, she showed her back.

In the present era, Olympic is a pot boiling matter. Fraternities from different arena are carrying different views regarding the issue. Some personalities are supporting it while some not. First woman police IPS officer Kiran Bedi, football player Baichung Bhutia, cricketer Sachin Tendulkar preferred to stay away from the Olympic run. Soha gave her verdict on the same day when Sports Minister M S Gill said that he supports only real athletes to carry the torch and was not in favor of stars or politicians to be associated with the relay which is to take place on Thursday.
