Sneak-peak: Virat Kohli grooves, raps with A R Rahman for Futsal League

Cricketer Virat Kohli, who is the brand ambassador for the Premier Futsal League, has recorded the official anthem for the tourney with music maestro A R Rahman at the latter’s studio. The Indian cricket test captain took to his Twitter handle yesterday and shared a throwback picture of him recording the song.

Virat is seen standing before the mic with head-pones and other recording equipment. “Throwback to the day at the genius's recording studio, Mr. @arrahman Candid one from the session. Had lots of fun,” the right handed batsman captioned the photo.

A sneak peak of the Futsal anthem is available on video sharing platform YouTube. In the short video, Virat can be seen shaking a leg with the two-time Oscar winning musician. Besides showcasing his superb moves, the cricketer is also doing the rap portions of the anthem. Both of them have donned black outfits and Virat is seen sporting dark glasses.

The anthem will be released later this month.

“I have been a fan of AR Rahman for years. It will be a personal achievement and also a privilege to share the screen with him and lend my voice to the anthem of Premier Futsal,” Virat had earlier said.

Virat will be leading team India in the upcoming tour of West Indies.
