‘Singham Returns’ crosses 100 crore mark in five days

Ajay Devgn and Kareena Kapoor starrer ‘Singham Returns’ crosses the prestigious 100 crore mark.  In just few days of its release, the film crossed the milestone set and according to a leading trade analyst, the collection reads as: Fri 32.09 cr, Sat 21.05 cr, Sun 24.55 cr, Mon 14.78 cr, Tue 8.21 cr. Total: ? 100.68 cr nett.

Rohit’s film never missed to score 100 crore at the box-office. ‘Golmaal’ series, ‘Chennai Express’, ‘Singham’ and now ‘Singham Returns’ are Rohit Shetty’s record-breaking films.

In the first two days, the film earned Rs 50 crore at the domestic box-office. This is Ajay Devgn’s first biggest opener of his career. The first weekend overseas collection was USD 2.4 million (approximately Rs.14.5 crore).

‘Singham Returns’ co-produced by Ajay Devgn Films, Rohit Shetty Productions and Reliance Entertainment suppressed ‘Chennai Express’, ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ and ‘Kick’ box-office collection.

Rohit who is basking in the joy of ‘Singham Returns’ success penned his next script starring Shahrukh Khan and Kajol in the lead.
