Sikhs felicitated Vipul Shah with a Sarafa

Singh Is Kinng is the next offering of Vipul Shah. It is a big budget film and people are looking forward to it as it will portray the heritage of the Sikhs and at the same time will depict Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif’s on-screen chemistry. Before the film hit the theatre, it has received many complaints and faced agitation from the Sikh community for some sequences but ultimately everything has been sort out when the objected scenes were re-shoot. The Sikhs have seen the trailer of the film and they are really impressed with its out coming. Out of respect, they felicitated producer Vipul Shah with a Sarafa.

Speaking about the felicitation, Vipul said, "Actually I was also surprised; this is one of the very important days for the Sikhs. So I had gone there to see the festivities where I was then felicitated with a Sarafa; I think they were very happy with the way things have turned out with Singh Is Kinng. But I am seriously very touched with their gesture and I feel that a little amount of care in what we portray about any community can go a long way".
