Shyam Yadav from Mumbai wins ‘Dance India Dance 4’


17-year-old boy Shyam Yadav from Mumbai walked away with the winner trophy of the dance reality show ‘Dance India Dance Season 4’ held on Saturday. Apart from winning the coveted title, the winner won a brand new car, a Maruti Celerio. Shyam signed a three-year contract with Zee TV, which airs the show.

Shyam who is the winner of the show has been a part of 'Mudassar Ki Mandli' during the show. He is also the child genius of Mudassar’s dance academy. Shyam has been learning dance from Mudassar’s school for the past seven years and performed in many shows all over with the dance troupe.

Shyam has been exceptional in every episode of the show and won the heart of the judges and the mentor, veteran actor Mithun Chakraborty. Co-hosted by TV actors Jay Bhanushali and Ishita Sharma, the finale saw Shyam winning the dance reality show with maximum votes.  Shyam Yadav, Manan Sachdeva, Sumedh Mudgalkar and Biki Das were the four finalists. Shyam declared the winner and Karnal's Manan Sachdeva take the runners-up position.

The three of the judges Mudassar Khan, Shruti Merchant and Feroz Khan along with grandmaster Mithun Chakraborty were happy with the decision of the janta and accepted Shyam as the winner of the show.

As the name of the winner was announced tears rolled in from Shyam’s eyes. The grand finale saw special celebrity guests Vidya Balan and Farhan Akhtar who came on the show to promote their upcoming film, ‘Shaadi Ke Side Effects’.
