Shruti Hassan undergoes operation


Actress Shruti Hassan was operated in Mumbai. While shooting for ‘Welcome Back’, the actress complained acute pain in stomach and immediately admitted to Jubilee Hills Apollo hospital. After investigation, the actress was diagnosed appendix and she was operated.

The 'Ramaiya Vastavaiya' actress on Sunday, January 5 underwent an appendicitis surgery and is currently recovering in hospital.

The ‘D Day’ actress tweeted: Hello tweeps thankyou for all your love and get well soon wishes!appendix out and raring to go :) albeit a bit slowly :)

Fans and well wishers Shruti tweeted speedy recovery and the  'Ramaiya Vastavaiya' actress took to twitter to express her gratitude as she wrote, "Hello tweeps thankyou for all your love and get well soon wishes!appendix out and raring to go :) albeit a bit slowly :)"

She was busy promoting her forthcoming release 'Yevadu' and shooting ‘Welcome Back’ when she developed the pain.

Despite acute pain, she attended the app launch of the film. Soon after the event, she was rushed to the hospital.

Shruti Haasan was also shooting for her upcoming Telugu film 'Race Gurram'.

Shruti, daughter of actor-filmmaker Kamal Haasan, has also bagged Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Gabbar'.

Shuri recently hit the headlines when an unidentified man attacked her at her house. The doctors have advised her rest for a week and she could only resume shooting after a week.
