Shiv Sena threatens Shahrukh
Shiv Sena threatened Shahrukh Khan regarding screening of his latest film, ‘My Name Is Khan’. They have taken this stern action against King Khan for his sympathy towards Pakistani players. In a recent debate to include Pakistani players in the IPL, Shahrukh Khan welcomed the players saying that they should have been welcomed.
Shiv Sena supporters attacked a local multiplex in Thane for putting a poster of SRK’s upcoming film. They even shouted slogans against the actor and police was landed on the street to calm the situation.
Supporting the violent act, Sena's spokesperson Sanjay Raut said, "If Shah Rukh wants Pakistani players to play here, he should go to Karachi and Islamabad to play with them...If he includes Pakistani players in his team, he should be aware of the consequences."
Shahrukh recently commented about the non-selection of Pakistani players in IPL auction, "I truly believe they (Pakistan players) should have been chosen."
Shiv Sena activists have put a stop on screening of the film in various parts of India until SRK makes an apology for his comment.
