Shilpa, Raj to own a football club in India
After cricket, it is now football that interests both Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra. The duo paid a visit to the All India Football Federation (AIFF). There they met with the president in-charge Praful Patel and get to now about the present scenario of the game.
"Shilpa and Raj were quite enthusiastic about Indian football and wanted to know about various development projects, our competitions and the general football structure. The meeting went off quite well," said Colaco, AIFF general secretary.
"Both of them had met up with (president in-charge) Praful Patel. They are good friends, and it was Patel who asked them to visit the AIFF headquarters and learn more about the game," Colaco added.
It was Raj who seemed more enthusiastic about owing a football club in India. Shilpa and Raj shares a good rapport with Praful Patel. Both wanted to raise the standard of Indian football.
