Shakti Kapoor's son arrested in drug case

Mumbai narcotics department raided a rave party in Juhu early on Monday morning and arrested eight drug peddlers. The police also detained over 230 revelers and sent them to various hospitals for confirmation tests and among those drug dealers was Shakti Kapoor's son Siddharth who plays music at that night club.

"My son is innocent," the actor told reporters. "He travels everywhere in the country, as he is a disc jockey. In this particular party, he was just playing music as a disc jockey, when he was apprehended. I am completely against drugs and believe that anyone, who is caught in the act must be hung upside down and beaten up," Kapoor added. He further informed that his son will be released and would come back home soon.

Among the girls, Aditya Panscholi and Zarina Wahab's daughter Sana Panscholi was also held by the police. Pancholi refused to comment on the issue. The narcotics department raided the place after getting information from their civilian informers. Ecstasy, cocaine, LSD was seized from the bar.
