Shahrukh, Salman on Anupam Kher's new TV show

It was announced few months ago that veteran actor Anupam Kher will be making his return to the small screen. He will be hosting the show ‘Kucch Bhi Ho Sakta Hai’ on Colors channel. The show will feature celebrity guests like Shahrukh Khan, Akshay Kumar, Salman Khan and Naseeruddin Shah. However Anupam Kher revealed that despite his strong efforts he was unable to bring Amitabh Bachchan as a guest this season. He is hopeful to bring Big B on the next season of the show. The actor told the media, "I tried my level best to get Mr. Bachchan. His dates were clashing, so he said next season. I think Salman (Khan) will be hopefully there too. Apart from them, there are others also from different walks of life who have great stories... Whether it's Narayana Murthy or Sachin Tendulkar. Let's hope we have them too. I need to make a success out of this for others to say that they want to be on the show."

The show will highlight inspirational stories of the guests and how they reached success through determination and perseverance. Anupam Kher who is also making his debut as a producer with this show said that though celebrity talk show is not anything new, there are unique elements that the audience will like. He said, “All were interesting. Every individual has a story and all are interesting if they talk about the truth. Success of the show is based on honesty. They've come to me trusting me completely. I didn't give them brief…I was sure that it won't be based on gossip or any negative questions or not even to promote their films... It's a pure chat show. Only in the end, there is a surprise element for the audience, so that we can show that 'kucch bhi ho sakta hai' (anything can happen)."

Raj Nayak, CEO of Colors channel, said, “While people know Anupam Kher – the star, there’s much more to him as a human being. His own story is extremely inspirational and now he’s going to help others like him talk to our viewers about their life experiences. We are sure that with a host like Anupam on board, this show will make them laugh, cry, and inspire at the same time.”  The show will go on air from 6th July. The promo of the show is already out and it feature SRK who is seen talking quite emotionally.
