A star now owns a part of the moon. Shahrukh Khan has got a wonderful gift on his 44th birthday. International Lunar Geographic Society (ILGS) in New York has named a crated after Shahrukh Khan's name by the appeal of his die-hard fans. The appeal was made to the international society on his 44th birthday last year but it was finally approved now.
Soon after their approval, congratulatory message was sent to King Khan though Twitter. Director Mahesh Bhatt tweeted, "So far, dingy streets in Mumbai were named after Bollywood icons and that too posthumously. SRK has won the moon for Bollywood!"
Director Ken Ghosh tweeted, "A true success story SRK once said he would own Mumbai. Today owns a part of the moon!" (sic).
The actor by owning a crater in the moon’s Sea of Tranquillity has immortal his name along with Nobel laureate C V Raman, Vikram Sarabhai, Homi Bhabha and other luminaries like Meghnad Saha after whom craters have been named.
