Shahrukh Khan skips Filmfare Awards for Salman Khan
Shahrukh Khan and Salman Khan hugged and shared pleasantries recently at an award ceremony but King Khan felt a bit awkward to kiss and make-up in front of the huge audience with the person with whom he had shared a long standing rivalry. It is assumed that this might be the reason for King Khan skipping the prestigious 59th Idea Filmfare Awards on Thursday night.
Salman Khan who hardly attends award ceremonies was seen in full form at the award event. He shake a leg on his hit numbers and entertained the audience.
Another reason cited for Shahrukh Khan’s absence from the award function is his injury. The superstar recently badly hurt his shoulder on the set of Farah Khan’s ‘Happy New Year’ and was advised bed rest.
Shahrukh Khan and Salman Khan’s rivalry dates long back. The two rival Khans for the first time embraced each other in 2013 at politician Baba Siddhiqui’s Iftaar party and the report received full fodder and remained in the limelight throughout.
Though they hugged, Salman Khan’s father Salim Khan made it clear that Salman and Shahrukh can never be friends as they hold different ideologies and their path is totally different.
Fans are pinning high hopes for their patch-up as they are longing to see another Karan-Arjun.
