Shahrukh Khan, Simon Cowell team up for a TV show

Superstar Shahrukh Khan and British television producer Simon Cowell join hands for a new television show to be aired on Colors channel. After a long gap, King Khan is making his comeback on small screen. He will reportedly host a grand live show based on the hugely popular international series ‘Got Talent’.

Simon Cowell, creator of 'Got Talent' and 'The X Factor', will reportedly come to India for the show. The show will be first of its kind and the live event will be held at the Andheri Sports Complex here in December.

A source close to Shahrukh says, "It’ll be a talent show, which will see people from across the world competing. Cowell has wanted to venture into the Indian entertainment market for a while."

No official announcement of the live show is yet made. Confirming the news, Rav Singh, director of RFS Entertainment Ltd, the company organising the event, says, "Simon Cowell and Shah Rukh Khan will be teaming up for a live extravaganza. We are bringing these two global household names together."

Shahrukh Khan is hugely popular internationally and the organizers feel he would be the right choice for the show.

Shahrukh’s relationship with the idiot box dates long back. Before coming into movies, he starred in soaps like ‘Fauji’, ‘Circus’ and anchored 'Kaun Banega Crorepati', 'Kya Aap Paanchvi Pass Se Tez Hain?' and 'Zor Ka Jhatka'.

Currently, the superstar is busy shooting Farah Khan’s ‘Happy New Year’.
