Shahrukh Khan, Salman Khan are still rivals?
Much has been said and written after the much publicized hug between the two warring Khans of Bollywood, Salman Khan and Shahrukh Khan. Over the years, many close pals of the two stars tried to act as a peacemaker between the two but all their attempts ended into smoke and finally the long awaited event took take at Baba Siddiqui’s iftar party when both the Khans hugged forgetting all the differences of the past. But the million dollar question is whether Sallu and SRK forgot their past and became one.
After the hug, media questioned Shahrukh Khan about Salman at a press conference of his new movie, ‘Chennai Express’ and surprisingly the superstar avoided the question. "Whether its my relationship, friendship or any other personal aspect I have never dignified it by talking about it in public. I like to keep it like this. With due respect people have already analysed the whole situation. So much has been said and written about it. I don`t want to give any explanation or talk about it," Shah Rukh told reporters here at an event.
Papa Salim who was also present at the party says that he is proud that his son had made the first move. “I am happy that my son has taken the initiative. It was a sensible thing to do and a much-needed gesture and Shah Rukh reciprocated.” However, Salim is not willing to speculate why the patch up occurred. “They both are self-respecting people. They must have decided to put aside their ego instead of thinking about what hurt them. Maybe they felt foolish behaving in a childish manner and instead decided to behave like mature adults on that day. Media should be talking on much more important issues than this,” he said.
Salman Khan’s brother and actor
Sohail Khan also refused to comment on the issue but he did not deny the fact
that Bhai has just made a friendly gesture to King Khan and in actuality their differences continues to prevail.
While Salman Khan is a tensed man today, he has been charged with culpable homicide not amounting to murder in the 2002 hit-and-run case and when Shahrukh was asked about it, he said, "I don`t know about this so I can`t comment on it."
