Shahrukh Khan down with fever

After Amitabh Bachchan, superstar Shahrukh Khan is under the influence of weather change. King Khan in suffering from fever and he is said to be resting at home and watching his movies on television.

Shahrukh gets emotional on watching his movies on TV and tweeted his presence state of mind, "my life is in films not years". seem like landmark for one or other film of mine. `Don` yesterday (Saturday), `Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge` today (Sunday) ... My life is in films not years ... Wow," Shah Rukh tweeted Sunday.

"Been under the weather. Will spend tonight watching `Chennai Express` on Zee TV ... I am sure will bring some some taste to my bland chicken soup," the 47-year-old, who has been down with fever, wrote.

Despite fever, Shahrukh Khan attended Lux Chennai Express event and enacted the train scene from the film with the winner of the contest Zarina. “I would like to thank Lux to give me another aopportunity to interact with my adoring fans. I am proud to be associated with this iconic brand”, Shahrukh told reporters at the event.

“The train ride has been lucky for me from ‘Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge’ onwards”, he added. King Khan also danced with the contestants on stage.

Shahrukh Khan reached the event late as he was unwell and he apologized his fans for coming late, “I am extremely sorry for coming late. My apologies to the media people. I am not well...I have flu...I was bed-ridden. I have been travelling a lot...but thanks for all your patience," Shahrukh Khan told reporters.

"I don't get tired very soon, but today I am a bit unwell. I have fever and may be because I didn't sleep last night..."

The event was scheduled at 3:30 pm but Shahrukh Khan arrived at 6pm.

However, Shahrukh’s next will be Farah Khan’s `Happy New Year` and he will team up with Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan and Boman Irani in the film.
