Gauri takes Shahrukh Khan home after surgery
Shahrukh Khan was discharged from hospital after surgery and
he is on the road to recovery. King Khan underwent three hours surgery on his
right shoulder at Mumbai Lilavati hospital. Shahrukh who is recently back to
twitter thanks fans for their blessings, "I thank all my fans, will
recover soon and entertain again," said King Khan after being discharged
from hospital. He is resting at home at present and will be back to work after one months. Gauri was with him during discharge.
His son Aryan who is studying in London flew down to be by his father’s side. A close source said, "The surgery went off well and he is absolutely fine. Shah Rukh got discharged at around 8.30 pm. His wife Gauri was with him." His entire family was with him when the operation was carried on.
Dr Sanjay Desai who operated SRK with his team of doctors tweeted, "His surgery is successful; will need to rest for two months & will be discharge in 2-3 days."
Shahrukh’s close friend and writer Mushtaq Sheikh tweeted about SRK’s successful surgery.
"Good news for everyone who is asking and sending in prayers and wishes for SRK. His surgery has been successfully completed," he tweeted.
The actor was supposed to fly to London for the surgery but later he changed his mind to perform the operation in India. The surgery was due for a long time as Shahrukh was busy with back to back shooting and other assignments.
"Shah Rukh had injured himself during 'Ra.One', but later he got busy with ‘Chennai Express’ and said that he will get the surgery done only after wrapping up the shooting for 'Chennai Express," the source said.
While shooting an action sequence for Rohit Shetty's "Chennai Express", his shoulder pain aggravated but he refused to use body doubles for "Chennai Express".
Shahrukh wrapped up the shooting of ‘Chennai Express’ on May 25. He
will be resting at his home for a month and then again join the cast and the
crew of the movie for the movie promotion. The film is slated to release during
