Shahrukh Khan cries
Shahrukh's Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi is ready to hit the silver screen and the actor is in promotional activity. King Khan is feeling awkward to promote his film in the city which has witnessed the ugly face of terror recently and at the same time he is feeling ashamed to request the people to go and watch the film when the entire world is suppressed by terrorism and fighting against this dreaded syndrome. While promoting his forthcoming film, he said, "The movie is funny. But when I watched it, I cried and I laughed and I cried because I felt that by killing innocent, normal people, they (gunmen) are denying us the simple pleasures of life."
After terror hit Mumbai, King Khan and Aditya Chopra were not at all in the favor of promoting the film and felt uncomfortable to urge the people to view it. He expressed his grief in the following words, "I didn't feel like saying 'Go watch a film' when people had died. What about the thousands who are affected?"
Shahrukh is sure that Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi will make people smile, "I can't tell people it will get you out of your sadness, but I can assure you that the two hours and 20 minutes is going to be great fun," says the Badshah of Bollywood.
