Shahrukh dances atop table in Subhas Ghai’s party
Shahrukh Khan is known to have a high energy. He connects with people instantly. He also has a huge fan following. Recently we found one of the many reasons why industry people love him.
Recently film maker Subhas Ghai threw a party at a suburban night club to celebrate 36th year of his production house and also to celebrate his wedding anniversary bash with wife Rehana Ghai. A number of Bollywood celebrities attended the bash.
Shahrukh Khan was one of the guests at the party. He was present at the party for almost three hours. While leaving, he saw Subhas Ghai’s upcoming film’s actor Chandan Roy Sanyal was dancing on a table top. Ghai joined him to dance. Soon after that, even SRK joined them and they shook legs on a few Bollywood numbers.
Says an onlooker, "Shah Rukh spent a lot of time at the party. He was there for nearly three hours. While leaving, he spotted actor Chandan Roy Sanyal atop a table and dancing. Chandan features in Ghai's upcoming film Kaanchi. Ghai joined him in the dance and heads turned when SRK climbed on to the table. It was very entertaining."
Adds the source, "The trio swayed to the ‘Bhaag Milkha Bhaag’ track ‘Hawan Karengey’. The guests encircled the table and started dancing around them."
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was present at the party along with her mother-in-law Jaya Bachchan. Both were early birds at the party. Aishwarya’s mother , Vrinda Rai also attended the party.
Other than them, Shatrughan Sinha, Sunny Deol, Rishi Kapoor, Jackie Shroff, choreographer Ganesh Acharya and Saroj Khan, Rohit Roy and Veena Malik were among the guests present at the party.
Subhas Ghai’s upcoming movie is ‘Kaanchi’. ‘Kaanchi’ was earlier supposed to be released on 5th December but due to production delays, the movie will release next year in February. “A few portions of the film are left for shoot. I am going to take my own time to release Kaanchi. I am not in a hurry to release the film as I don’t want to repeat the mistake I did with my last film”, said Subhas Ghai. He also added, “Most of the films which do not do well because of the pressure of its release date. Directors later feel that the film would have worked better if they had given some more time for their film.” The film is now set for a release on an undisclosed date in February 2014.
