Shahrukh and Irfan in Priyadarshan film Billoo Barber

Priyadarshan is extremely excited to work with Shahrukh Khan in his forthcoming film. The film titled Billoo Barber will be produced by SRK's Red Chillies Entertainment and the film will be directed by Priyadarshan. Apart from SRK, the film will also have Irrfan Khan in a lead role and the film will see a number of top actresses like Kareena, Deepika and Priyanka. Naturally with SRK producing and starring in the film one can only expect the best from him.  

Since Priyadarshan has adapted several South movies in Hindi, one naturally wonders which film remake from the South does Billoo Barber belong to. A source claims, "Billoo Barber is a story based on the relationship between Krishna and his childhood friend Sudama. Priyan is supposedly adapting this story of friendship between two friends, one rich and the other a poor villager." SRK will supposedly play the rich guy who plays an actor in the film while Irrfan Khan will play the other lead role of a village barber. The story is based on these two young boys who go to school together but then as time goes by, they both drift their own ways. 

Apparently sources also claim that SRK wants to rope in Kareena, Deepika and Priyanka for roles opposite him in the film, he will be seen romancing all of them in the film. While Kareena has given her consent, he is still in talks with Deepika and Priyanka. Meanwhile Priyadarshan is searching for a brilliant actress who can be on par with the power house performer Irrfan Khan. Sources claim that Ameesha Patel and Tabu are being considered for the female lead opposite Irrfan. The character of Irrfan will have an equally strong performance as SRK and he will be seen in an all new avatar.  

Billoo Barber's screenplay has been done by Mushtaq Sheikh and the lyrics have been penned by Gulzar. SRK is taking a keen and personal interest in the film. Priyadarshan confirms that he will be directing Billoo Barber but refuses to divulge anything more about the film.
