According to sources, one of the reasons for long time couple Shahid-Kareena's relationship going kaput was his proximity to co-star Amrita Rao . Shahid and Amrita Rao began their careers together in Ishq Vishq and their on-screen chemistry has been appreciated and hence they were cast together in quite a few films. Since then Shahid has also been linked with another of his co-star's Vidya Balan and tennis star Sania Mirza. However it seems Amrita is very much a part of Shahid's life as the duo was recently spotted spending time together.
Shahid and Amrita were last seen in the film Vivaah together which received a good response. According to sources, while shooting for the film, Shahid and Amrita began to get extremely close and this even upset Shahid's then girlfriend Kareena. However Amrita has denied being the reason for the Shahid-Kareena split. But recently Shahid and Amrita spent time watching a film together. Shahid and Amrita had gone for the late night show of Welcome and Shahid's parents Pankaj Kapur and his wife Supriya Pathak were also seen with the duo. Amrita was extremely comfortable around Shahid and his family despite the recent rumours of their link-up.
Shahid and Amrita arrived together, while his parents came in separately. However after people realized that Shahid and Amrita were in the theater, fans got over excited and hence Amrita was escorted out of the theater under security half an hour before the film ended. Shahid left with his parents later. So is this the new twist in the secret love saga or is this just a casual friendship? Amrita has also been linked with her co-star Nikhil Dwivedi of My Name is Anthony Gonsalves fame. Earlier sources had claimed that Kareena was upset with Shahid as she had visited Shahid on the sets of Vivaah and spotted Amrita coming out of his vanity van. Amrita has also recently purchased an apartment close to Shahid's place. So everyone's wondering who it's gonna be for Shahid, Amrita Rao, Vidya Balan or Sania Mirza?
