Shahid Kapoor opens up on wife Mira Rajput’s acting plan

Shahid Kapoor’s wife Mira Rajput is fashionable, beautiful, well-spoken, has a great sense of style and she also confidenttly faced camera. Mira shot for an ad and it was liked by all. She is a perfect Bollywood girl but husband and actor Shahid Kapoor said that she is quite comfortable before camera but never expressed her desire to act in movies.

When Shahid was asked about Mira’s acting plans, he says that she has “never really expressed any such inclination”. “She supports me for what I do, and I will continue to support her for whatever she wants to do,” he says. Shahid further adds that Mira has her own set of skills and talents. “She is creative and has great sense of clothes and is very good with food, too. She is well spoken and well read. She is also quite good with make-up. I appreciate all those things about her. She has a sense of design when it comes to houses and furniture. Having said that, she is pretty comfortable in front of the camera, too,” he says.

Shahid Kapoor recalled his epic meeting with Mira and her dad Vikramaditya Rajput. "I was about to start shooting for Udta Punjabwhen I met first met Mira. I remember I went to her house for the first time and I was in the Tommy zone. So, I had a ponytail, drop-crotch track pants and weird shoes on. I recall getting out of the car in this avatar at Mira's farmhouse in Delhi. Her dad came out to welcome his son-in-law to be. He saw how I was dressed and he surely thought ' 'God what is my daughter getting married to.' He barely looked at me, then whispered 'Come inside' and went away," he told the publication.

Further, Shahid said: "I remember telling her 'I am going to colour my hair.' She is this 20-something girl coming out of Lady Shri Ram College and she was like 'What?' And when I told her I am playing a character called Tommy, she said, 'That is not the name of a guy, it is the name of a dog'," reported Times Of India.

The charming couple is blessed with two kids, Misha and Zain.
