Shah Rukh and Gauri - the doting couple
Shah Rukh Khan and his wife Gauri have always been referred to as one of the best couples of Bollywood. The duo has had a long-standing affair before marriage, faced objections from family as they belonged to two different religions but still made it to the aisle. The couple tied the knot in 1991, before Shah Rukh made his debut into films with “Deewana”. He has also been known as a loyal husband as there had never been too many rumors regarding his inclination towards any female co-star.
However, his haven was shaken a bit by the entry of a certain Miss Priyanka Chopra while filming “Don 2”. Their equations were questioned time and again and it continued long after the film had released and washed off from the theatres.
The rumors then turned into established truth when the who’s who of tinsel town started supporting Gauri Khan and ignored Priyanka Chopra at parties and events. Karan Johar even vented his anger on Twitter against Priyanka.
However, now everything seems to have turned normal. Shah Rukh and Gauri again appear as a couple at parties and he still dotes on his wife the way we all knew him to be.
Their romance was once again made evident by Shah Rukh who praised his wife on Twitter for her talent and creativity. He wrote on his Twitter handle, “Saw stuff by Charcoal Project. What fantastic creativity in furniture by @sussannekroshan & my multifaceted wife Gauri. You girls make wood speak.”
Sussane Roshan, who happens to be Hrithik Roshan’s wife, has opened up an interior design store titled “Charcoal Project”. Both the star wives are the designers for the store. Gauri has unveiled her own line of designer furniture in association with Charcoal Project.
Gauri’s flair for interior designing was also obvious in the way she did up her house Mannat. Shah Rukh had always been very vocal about his wife’s talent and keen sense of style but this tweet was something else. Within minutes of his posting this tweet it went viral among his fans.
Even earlier Shah Rukh had announced, “It's Gauri who decides what interior stuff to buy for home and what not, I am not allowed to say anything. But as far as the office is concerned. I am the boss."
Sometime back in an interview to Notch magazine Gauri had mentioned that it was her husband Shah Rukh who provided inspiration to her.
