Shabana Azmi, Sanjay Gupta host Holi bashes

Holi is a time for colour, joy and celebration and naturally our bollywood brigade won't miss an opportunity to party hard. There were several holi bashes being hosted by the bollywood brigade. Shabana Azmi along with hubby Javed Akhtar held a holi party at their abode. Filmmaker Sanjay Gupta too held his customary holi party. The telly brigade too saw several holi bashes and everyone seemed to be enjoying the colour, water and bhang. 

Veteran actress Shabana Azmi and husband Javed Akhtar held a holi bash at the residence along with their kids director Farhan Akhtar etc. The invitees mostly included the older generation of bollywood like Anupam Kher with wife Kirron, Tanvi Azmi etc. The couple brought in safe non toxic holi colours, water tanks etc. The traditional holi sweets like gujjia, bhang etc was on the menu. Then filmmaker Sanjay Gupta also had his annual holi bash and the usual turnouts Parveen Dabbas, Preeti Jhangiani, Rohit Roy and wife Manasi, Sudhanshu Pandey, Masumeh and others were seen spraying each other with water and colours.  

The telly brigade too of course did not want to be left behind in sporting the holi spirit and hence there were several bashes by Zoom TV etc. Many of bollywood's lovely ladies like Celina Jaitley, Sameera Reddy, Neetu Chandra  were spotted at this holi bash. The usual telly couples Shilpa and Apoorva Agnihotri, Indraneil and Barkha, Yash and Gauri Tonk etc were seen having a blast. Tushaar Kapoor too was seen enjoying the festivities of Holi. However this year several of bollywood's big names skipped their holi parties. The Bachchan's are in mourning over the demise of Amitabh's mom Tejii Bachchan and hence did not hold any holi bash. The Kapoor's too have stopped having their holi bashes since quiet some time now.
