Satyamev Jayate: Aamir gets invitation from Parliament
Aamir Khan’s debut telly show ‘Satyamev Jayate’ has generated too much heat everywhere and following the immense response from the janta of India, our politicians and bureaucrat also became too conscious and invited Aamir to share views on the subject of Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) in the pharmaceutical sector. Aamir Khan and his creative team received invitation from the Sansad Bhawan and the perfectionist will be there on Thursday to discuss the matter.
“It’s a matter of great pride,” says an insider. In fact, the head of the parliamentary committee, Shanta Kumar has invited Aamir to the Parliament. It is said that the basic idea was to discuss the matter of medicines. “Aamir is personally working hard on it,” reveals the insider. Aamir’s spokesperson said, “Yes, Aamir has been invited and he would be going there on Thursday.” Minister of state for parliamentary affairs, Rajeev Shukla, however, says he is unaware of any such development. “I am not aware of Aamir being given any such permission. It is not easy.”
Aamir in a particular episode of ‘Satyamev Jayate’ unveiled the malpractices and unethical medical practices. Following the shameful exposure, Aamir received many letters from Indian Medical Association demanding apology. But he received immense support from some medical professionals and people of India for exposing the illegal medical practices.
