Sanjay Dutt’s four-year-old daughter hospitalized

Sanjay Dutt’s four-year old daughter Iqra was admitted to Mumbai Breach Candy hospital last night following gastroenteritis. Iqra is Sanjay and Manyata’s daughter and she has been unwell for couple of days. She was admitted last night and likely to remain in hospital for five to six days.

A source says, "Iqra was admitted to the hospital on Tuesday morning as she is suffering from gastroenteritis. She is likely to be in the hospital for the next four to five days."

Iqra was admitted to a private room at Peddar Road's Breach Candy hospital under the watch of consultant paediatrician MV Balsekar. When contacted, Dr Balksekar refused to comment on the Iqra's condition. Dr Geeta Koppikar, medical director of the hospital, too refused to comment on Iqra’s condition. Medical authorities maintained privacy on the matter. However, a family friend said, "She is doing fine and was admitted for routine checkups."

Sanjay who is serving his remaining jail term at Pune Yerawada jail might seek for parole to attend his sick daughter. It is to be mentioned that he in the past numbers of times released on parole from jail following his won and Manyata’s illness.

It is speculated that the actor might again apply for parole following his daughter’s sickness.
