Sanjay Dutt Races Against Time to Complete Work

Sanjay Dutt just has a few days in hand before he surrenders to the decision of the Supreme Court. He is using all his time to complete the films he has on hand. Sanjay Dutt was convicted for the possession of arms in 1993 during the Mumbai serial blasts, and a few weeks back, the Supreme Court passed out a judgment saying he needs to serve 5 years in jail. Sanjay Dutt has already served 18 months in jail.

Sanjay Dutt has not applied for pardon, and he has said that he will surrender. But Sanjay Dutt does not want to hamper the future of the films that he has already started shooting for; hence he has started doing double shifts to complete his pending work.

In the press conference that he held, he clearly mentioned his wish to complete all the impending films on hand. He is currently shooting for Rahul Aggarwal’s ‘Policegiri’. He shoots for it during the day, and does the dubbing work at night. The producer quipped, “He intends to finish the film soon so that he can start with his other projects. To save time he started dubbing for the film after we are done with the shoot.”

Although this lessens his time with his family and kids, he has been a thorough professional and is going all out to finish his work. He is also a part of the remake of ‘Zanjeer’ and Rajkumar Hirani’s ‘Peekay’. He has completed the shoot for ‘Zanjeer’, in which he plays Sher Khan. Where ‘Peekay’ is concerned, he has a few portions to be shot with Aamir Khan, and the shoot will take place this week itself. He has also shot a few scenes for Karan Johar’s home production.

The actor was also spotted at Devi Peeth temple in the Datia district of Madhya Pradesh. He was there with his brother in law, Kumar Gaurav to offer prayers to the lord and seek blessings before surrendering. Sanjay Dutt and Kumar Gaurav came half way via a private plane and the remaining distance, they covered by road. Fans gathered to catch a glimpse of him, but the security guards kept them at bay. Sanjay Dutt was dressed in a white kurta and dhoti.

Sanjay Dutt has informed his producers to complete his scenes by April 13th so that he has another 4 days for the dubbing of the films. He will most likely surrender by April 18th
