Sanjay Dutt prays for Manyata at temple, dargah

Sanjay Dutt’s wife Manyata Dutt is undergoing treatment for lung infection at Global Hospital in Mumbai and worried Sanjay prayed for his wife’s recovery at Siddhivinayak temple and holy Sayyed Haji Abdul Rehman Shah Baba Dargah in Dongri.

Manyata underwent first operation on January 8th and she might undergo second operation if needed. Various tests have been carried on her and the results of few tests are awaited. On the ground of Manyata’s ill health, Sanjay was granted parole and also got parole extension for a month on Manyata’s poor health.

A leading tabloid quoted Manyata's doctor as saying, "Yes, we performed a surgery on Manyata on January 8 and currently she is responding well to the treatment. We will do further tests and decide if she needs to undergo another surgery."

"My wife has a tumour of the liver. There have been many cancer instances in my family. Doctors are investigating. Please pray for my wife. We will follow medical course after the investigation," Sanjay Dutt had said earlier.

Ever since he was out from jail, Sanjay Dutt has been by his wife’s side.

Sanjay Dutt had been convicted by the Supreme Court last year and sentenced to five years in prison for illegally possession of arms in a case related to the 1993 bomb blasts. He had already served 18 months jail term and is currently undergoing the remaining 42 months of his sentence.
