Sanjay Dutt - Manyata reportedly to tie the knot today
Manyata has stood by actor Sanjay Dutt through some of his toughest times, whilst he was in jail. There has been much speculation several times that Sanju and Manyata have already tied the knot. Recently there was an ad in the 'Shiv Sena' mouthpiece Saamna by Sanjay Dutt and Manyata Dutt wishing the chief Bal Thackeray best wishes for his birthday. Now just yesterday, Manyata was spotted wearing 'sindoor' on her forehead which is the sign of a married woman. It has also been reported that Sanjay and Manyata will tie the knot today according to the Hindu rituals and customs.
Last year when there were reports of Sanjay and Manyata having tied the knot, Sanjay clarified that he and Manyata were not yet married. However now when it has been reported that the two have already tied the knot according to the Special Marriage registry act, Sanjay or Manyata refused to comment on the issue. In fact it has been reported that Sanjay and Manyata will tie the knot today according to Hindu rituals at a friend, Prashant's place this morning. Some sources claim that Sanjay and Manyata tied the knot on February 7 at the Taj Exotica in Goa under the Special Marriage Act with only a few close friends. Dharam Oberoi, CEO of Sanjay Dutt Productions and Bunty Walia, Sanjay's close friend and business manager were two witnesses at the register marriage. Hence Manyata was sporting the red 'sindoor' when she attended a function yesterday. However when questioned whether she had tied the knot with sweetheart Sanjay, she was not forthcoming at all.
However Sanjay's family, his sisters and his daughter were missing from the register marriage. The marriage reported by Hindu rituals slated to take place today is a private affair and will be attended by family and a few close friends. Some sources claimed that Sanju baba presented his new wife Manyata with a Rs.40 lakh ring as a wedding gift. Sanjay has already been married twice, earlier to Richa Sharma and then model Rhea Pillai.
