Sanjay Dutt gets parole for wife's illness, Manyata partying

Sanjay Dutt who is serving jail in Pune Yerawada jail was released on parole for one month. In his parole application, Dutt referred that his wife Manyata was sick and will undergo surgery and he needs leave from jail to take care of his wife. But the latest picture released online is saying some different story. If Manyata is actually unwell then what she is doing on Thursday in different venues?

On Friday, Manyata was spotted in two different events. Dressed in jeans and top with a pair of specs, she was first seen at the screening of Shahid Kapoor and Sonakshi Sinha starrer, ‘R..Rajkumar’ and then she attended Krishika Lulla's birthday party. There has been a huge uproar on Sanjay Dutt’s release from the jail.

Republican Party of India (RPI) activists on Saturday staged protests outside the Yerawada Jail in Pune against Dutt release from jail on parole.

Divisional Commissioner Prabhakar Deshmukh confirmed the development on Friday.

"The parole application was recommended by an ACP in Mumbai Police and the jail superintendent of Yerawada prison. Considering these recommendations, I have approved Dutt''s parole for 30 days. The reason for seeking leave was his wife''s illness," he said.

Reacting to this development, advocate Abha Singh said: "Old Zaibunissa Kazi and Sanjay Dutt went to jail together.Yet, she has not been granted parole, but he (Dutt) has been granted parole repeatedly."

Social and civil rights activist Annie Raja said: "There are thousands in jails who never get to meet their loved ones. This is an injustice to those people."

Home Minister of Maharashtra Mr R. R. Patil has asked for investigate on the case. He also said that the issue will be brought into state legislative assembly.

In October this year he was granted 15 days furlough on medical grounds and again after a month the actor got parole on the ground of his wife Manyata’s sickness. Sanjay also said that his daughter Trishala is unwell.
