Sanjay Dutt and Manyata’s marriage in legal hassle

From the very beginning, Sanjay Dutt’s marriage is encircled with controversies. Soon after their marriage the news of Manyata’s pregnancy followed. Now, the new incident in their life is that their marriage is trapped in a legal hassle.

Without being a resident of Goa, Manyata has managed to acquire a residential status in the state which is considered to be totally illegal. The couple had submitted their marriage declaration certificate to the sub-registrar’s office in Salcette on February 7 but still their declaration was not accepted. The question of legality was raised by the South Goa district collectorate to a local government officer. Sanjay-Manyata’s marriage was held in Goa and to hold any marriage it is necessary that one of them should be a resident of that place. But neither Sanjay nor Manyata are an inhabitant of Goa.

Their marriage is also under scan as Manyata has not yet declared her divorce from her first husband and failed to show authentic document. Their marriage declaration was registered in the Salcette sub-registrar’s office and the final verdict is yet to be declared. Until and unless the final judgement is not affirmed in their favor they will not be considered a legal couple.
