Sanjay Bhansali reportedly to tie the knot with Vaibhavi Merchant

Director Sanjay Leela Bhansali's films may be resplendent with romance, however it seems like now love may have finally conquered his heart too. It has earlier been reported that Sanjay Leela Bhansali and choreographer Vaibhavi Merchant have been seeing each other for some time now. And now there is a buzz that Sanjay Bhansali and Vaibhavi may soon tie the knot in March. 

Sanjay Leela Bhansali is currently in Paris where he is directing a musical Padmavati for the French Opera house, Theatre du Chatelet. Sources claim Vaibhavi and her family are quite excited about the impending marriage and preparations for the same are on in full swing. Vaibhavi and Sanjay were earlier colleagues as she has choreographed various films like Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, Devdas and Saawariyaa for him. However love blossomed between the two while working together. Vaibhavi has been seen with Bhansali on several occasions. At the star studded premiere of Saawariyaa, Vaibhavi was seen accompanying Bhansali's mother Leela and his sister Bela. In fact she too played host along with the family members at the event. A source claims "At the premiere it was more than obvious that Vaibhavi was more than a professional colleague of Bhansali's." Vaibhavi also seems quite close to Sanjay's mom, Leela Bhansali and the two get along quite well.  

Recently Vaibhavi was also seen welcoming children participants of a reality singing show along with Sanjay and his family members at the latter's home. She seemed quite comfortable playing host and like Sanjay was quite comfortable with the children around. So is it wedding bells for Sanjay and Vaibhavi? However Sanjay's sister claims that plans of an impending wedding in March are just baseless rumours. Meanwhile Sanjay is also planning to produce his first film and his assistant of Saawariyaa, Vibhu Puri will make his directorial debut with this venture. Apparently Sanjay is keen to rope in Amitabh Bachchan for this venture and has already spoken to him about it. However Bhansali has yet to announce the project formally.
