Salman to help the victims of Bihar flood
Bollywood’s bad boy Salman Khan is also known for his generosity. He has lended a helping hand to many needy and sufferers and this time around, he has come forward to help the victims of Bihar flood which is touted as a national tragedy. Salman will collect money through shows which will be organized by Wizcraft event Management Company at Andheri Sports Complex in suburban Mumbai. He has many hit numbers in his store and will be performing on those sizzling dance numbers. It is not yet known as to which other stars will accompany him.
"Salman has agreed to be a part of show of this show," Congress politician Sanjay Nirupam said. "We will have the concert in Mumbai and the money collected from the concert will be donated to the flood victims of Bihar." Nirupam made this announcement at a press conference organized by Bihari Cine Artists, under the banner of Punarwaas Flood Relief Mission, an organization that is dedicated to helping the flood victims of Bihar.
Speaking on the occasion, the actor turned politician, Shatrughan Sinha said, "We must not politicize the issue. All of us should come together and help the people of Bihar. At this moment, the people of Bihar need blankets, biscuits and mineral water. So if you can donate any of these, please donate generously according to your financial capacity. This tragedy is worse than the tsunami that hit some parts of India in 2004."
