Salman KhanSalman Khan will do anything for his family and he has proved this yet again. Salman recently asked filmmaker Boney Kapoor to re-launch brother Arbaaz Khan in a solo hero film. And in return Salman has even agreed to reduce his fee for Boney Kapoor's film Pokhri. Arbaaz Khan had made his debut in Daraar in 1996 opposite actress Juhi Chawala. Unfortunately his film career did not take off in a big way and he has been relegated to doing character roles.

However now older brother Salman is keen to boost up Arbaaz Khan's film career and hence he recently asked filmmaker Boney Kapoor to produce a solo hero film to re-launch Arbaaz in a big way. However in return for producing and re-launching brother Arbaaz's film career, Salman has supposedly agreed to cut his fee for Boney Kapoor's latest film Pokhiri. However sources claim "Boney told Salman that he is like family to him and there is no need of any reduction in remuneration." Boney Kapoor too confirmed that he and Salman will be jointly producing a film with Arbaaz as a solo hero.

Currently Boney Kapoor is working on a good script to re-launch Arbaaz. However the details on the script, cast, director etc are still to be finalised. All this will be done in the next two months and the film will hit the floors by the end of this year. Arbaaz Khan has been seen playing many character roles in the last few years and he will soon be seen in Woodstock Villa, Fashion etc. In his debut film Daraar, he had played a negative character and hence the image has stuck. But now it seems like brother Salman is backing him and no doubt with Sallu's support, Arbaaz's film career will hopefully take off.
