Salman, Jacqueline's ‘Kick’ set to storm the box office

No one can doubt Salman’s star power and his huge fan following. In recent years, all his films have released on the festival of Eid and have collected record revenues. But it looks like Salman is ready to outdo himself. Salman’s film ‘Kick’ is ready to release this Friday.

For months he has been going all out to promote the film and looks like his hard work is about to pay off in a big way. The trailer of the film was released amidst fan frenzy and it received record number of hits on YouTube. After the music of the film got similar response, it was clearly understandable that the film was heading towards box office record.

As per latest reports, ‘Kick’ may turn out to be the biggest release in the history of Indian films with more than 5000 screens.   Salman’s brother Arbaaz Khan recently stated that this may become Salman’s biggest ever hit. He said, “I am pretty sure that the film will be Salman’s biggest hit, inshallah…I personally feel this film will be a ‘dhamaka’. A big blockbuster is awaiting us.”

Cinema hall owners and multiplex managers are gearing up for big crowds. They are taking preparations about crowd management and making sure that enough number of seats are available to meet crowd demand. Film trade analysts are also very interested about the outcome at the box-office. Film traders are assuming that this year Eid may churn out more profit for producers than the Diwali season.

Vajir Singh, Box Office India editor said, “The buzz and excitement on Kick is tremendous. Salman Khan and Eid is always special. Kick is definitely going to be an experience for all of Salman’s fans worldwide.”? Noted trade analyst and film critic Taran Adarsh said, “The craze for Kick is humongous among audiences. Salman and Eid is the biggest combination. The theatrical trailer has generated tremendous response. Salman apni Eidi lene zaroor aayega…All I can say is that 'Kick' will take a record-breaking, earth-shattering opening!”

The COO of Big Cinema’s Ashish Saksena said, “Kick is, by far, the most anticipated film of the year. This is evident by the hysteria that was generated by the trailer. Due to our presence in big cities and smaller towns, we at big cinemas, are extremely excited about the film. This is because kick is the perfect film to transcend the entire cross section of the audiences that is the staple for our cinemas. We are getting amazing amount of inquiry from audiences.”
