Sanjay Dutt is keen to start his first film under his Sanjay Dutt Productions. And although the script still has to be finalised, Sanjay has finalised the actors and director. Sanjay Dutt has reportedly approached Sujoy Ghosh to direct his film. Sanjay has seen and appreciates Ghosh's earlier films like Jhankar Beats and Home Delivery. Currently Sanjay is working with Ghosh in his film Alladin. Sanjay has also approached his good friend Salman Khan and Ritesh Deshmukh to star in the film. Sources claim both Salman and Ritesh have agreed to be a part of Dutt's film.

A source claims "Sanjay has already roped in Salman to play a significant character in the film." However the script and actresses are still to be finalised. The film shooting will begin at the end of 2008. Sujoy Ghosh simply confirmed that he will be directing Sanjay's film; he said "Sanjay Dutt has asked me to direct a film for Sanjay Dutt Productions. It's completely his baby and I will simply follow his directives." Sanjay and Salman were seen together in a few films earlier and their camaraderie was clearly evident on-screen. However it is not yet known whether Sanju baba will himself act in his first production. But no doubt fans would once again love to see the Sanju-Sallu bonding on-screen.
