Salman, Aamir Khan catch up and party all night
It is a known fact that Aamir Khan and Salman Khan share an easy friendship. And if the buzz around the media is to be believed, the two friends were seen together at a party.
According to a source, Aamir was in Delhi to promote his famous television show, ‘Satyamev Jayate’, at the same time as Salman Khan was for the shooting of Sajid Nadiadwala’s directorial debut film, ‘Kick’.
It seems, both the actors were busy during the daytime, but caught up with each other late in the evening. “Aamir and Salman were staying in the same hotel and met at night. They partied and chatted till the wee hours of the morning. They had been wanting to meet up for a long time but couldn’t due to their hectic schedules,” a source was quoted as saying.
Reports in the media said, before the release of ‘Dhoom 3’, Aamir had sent his signature hat to Salman, who used it to promote the film on ‘Bigg Boss 7’. It was also reported that Aamir had promised to spread the word about Salman’s ‘Jai Ho’ and also walk the extra mile for this ‘good friend’.
The ‘Dabangg’ star is all set for his next movie ‘Kick’. The film is directed and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under the banner of Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment. In the film Salman is seen in the lead role opposite the ‘Race 2’ fame star Jacqueline Fernandez. It will be for the first time that will see Jacqueline share screen space with the superstar Salman Khan. The chemistry between the two would be interesting to watch out for.
At the same time, actor-filmmaker Aamir Khan, who turned 49 on Friday, reportedly said he was happy with the way his Bollywood career shaped up last year with the release of ‘Dhoom 3’. He has planned to dedicate all his time in 2014 to his social issue-based TV show ‘Satyamev Jayate’.
Talking to reporters at his residence, where he celebrates his birthday with media persons every year, Aamir reportedly said, “Last year was great. I was happy with the success of ‘Dhoom 3’, and I was glad that all our hard work paid off.”
“This year, I am dedicating
all my time to ‘Satyamev Jayate’. Only Raju’s ‘P.K.’ will release towards the
end, but there’s no other film. So, my whole year is for the show.”
