Saif: "I am in love and proud of it"

Saif Ali Khan is in love and the actor is not hiding it from the world. Saif does wear his heart on his sleeve and makes no bones about doing so. From tattooing girlfriend Kareena's name on his hand, to chauffeuring her around, to hugging her and giving her the best actress Filmfare award in front of the entire film industry and fans, the actor is definitely letting the world know he is love. Saif says "I am in love and proud of it." 

Saif admitted to his feelings for Kareena out in the open and ever since they have been quite open about their relationship. Saif says "I don't know if we have been particularly open, but I don't believe in being hypocritical, lying and hiding things. I'd like people to know how seriously I take my relationship in order for them to take it seriously. When I have someone in my life, why would I need to promote the image of being a single, available man?" However many are of the opinion that Saif's work is getting overshadowed by his personal life which is being given more importance. But Saif says "Love drives me more than anything. Work is an integral part of it. In order to sustain love, you need to work." However Saif does feel he does needs to be more ambitious and he says "my priorities keep changing. At one point I struggled to get accepted, then I wanted to be successful and now there's the strong urge to be the best in my craft. But the more I realise these are not going to last, the more ambitious I am to achieve something special." No doubt Saif is ambitious to achieve that something special that will last forever with his special lady Kareena Kapoor.  

Saif has proved his love for Kareena is unique ways; he's showered gifts like diamonds and solitaires on her and made her happy. Saif has also introduced her to his family, his parents feel that she is a wonderful girl and Kareena is also spotted spending time with his two kids often. Finally Saif and Kareena are often compared to the hot international couple, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, but Saif says "I think we are much cooler. We are Saif and Kareena of the world, not the Brad and Angelina of India." There has been immense buzz and publicity surrounding Saif and Kareena's personal relationship which also coincides with their soon to arrive film, Tashan together. So one definitely wonders whether all this hype surrounding the couple's love story will benefit the film which also has Kareena and Saif paired opposite each other on-screen. Let's wait and watch if this couple can translate their off-screen magic onscreen?
