‘Rustom’ song: Akshay, Ileana romance to Atif Aslam’s ‘Tere Sang Yaara’
After unveiling the trailer last week, the team of Akshay Kumar starrer ‘Rustom’ has released a song from the movie titled ‘Tere Sang Yaara’.
It is a romantic number sung in the melodious vocals of Pakistani singer Atif Aslam. The song has been composed by Arko Pravo Mukherjee and the lyrics have been penned by Manoj Muntashir.
The song depicts the love story of the characters played by Akshay Kumar and the gorgeous Ileana D’Crux. The duo is seen romancing each other in breathtakingly beautiful locations and the two actors, who have been paired for the first time, display good chemistry. Akshay looks drool-worthy in his Naval uniform.
‘Rustom’ is based on the true incident of the infamous Nanavati case of 1959 in which Naval Commander Kawas Manekshaw Nanavati was charged with the murder of his wife’s lover Prem Ahuja and tried in court. The sensational case was the last jury trial in India after which the system was abolished.
Akshay plays the role of Naval Commander Rustom Pavri, while the ‘Barfi!’ actress plays his wife. The movie also stars Arjan Bajwa and Esha Gupta among others.
The film has been produced by Neeraj Pandey who has earlier directed Akshay in the 2015 film ‘Baby’. Debutant Tinu Suresh Desai has directed it.
‘Rustom’ is slated to hit theatres on August 12.
