Rihanna takes up ‘heartbreak therapy’ to get over Chris
25-year-old Rihanna has decided to take up 12 step programme of heartbreak therapy in a clinic to get over her past love Chris Brown with whom she is deeply attached but cheated on her. Chris broke up his relationship with the pop star and rekindles his relationship with fashion designer Karreuche Tran.
Rihanna is likely to start with the 12-step programme - which follows the same format as alcohol and drug rehabilitation - during her upcoming six-week break from her 'Diamonds World Tour' at The Ranch clinic in Tennessee.
A source told the new UK issue of Grazia magazine,
"Rihanna is still desperately in love with Chris. It's like she's obsessed
with him and, although he's told her it's over, she just can't get over him.
"After talking it through with a psychotherapist, Rihanna is now considering doing a 12-step programme to get rid of her demons."
The Ranch's 'Women's Love and Sex Addiction Treatment Programme' helps women to deal with issues like "attracting troubled, addicted, abusive or otherwise emotionally unavailable partners" using treatments like counselling and equine therapy.
After dating for three long years,
Chris broke up with Rihanna in 2009 when he assaulted her after the pre-Grammy’s
party. After dating Karrueche for
two years, Chris and Rihanna again declared that they are officially a couple
in January 2013. After months of speculation, confused Chris claimed that he
was in love with ‘two women’ but their unstable romance has now ended again.
