Relief for SRK, MNIK screens at Fun Republic
There is a good news for Shahrukh Khan and his fans. One multiplex in Mumbai opens screening of one of the biggest releases of the year, ‘My Name Is Khan’. Fun Republic in Andheri opens booking from the morning and the first day, first show will be screened at 12 noon.
Shiv Sena activists landed at the Fun Republic and created some havoc, they pelted stones at Mumbai cinema but police took complete charge of the situation and took some of the Sena activist under custody. The film releases in some of the theatres in Mumbai. It has only limited releases.
Actors Kabir Bebi and Puja Bedi came out to watch the film without any escort and showed their support to King Khan.
Despite protest, fans came out in good numbers to watch the film. SRK fans also burn effigy of the Shiv Sena and MNS leaders.
