Revealed: Why Sonam Kapoor will make a good politician

Bollywood fashionista Sonam Kapoor, who shocked audiences with her brains and comments on KJo’s ‘Koffee with Karan’ while taking digs at contemporaries also spoke about being a politician in the future.

According to media reports, it seems Sonam is quite serious about her political aspirations since after the show many think she would make the perfect politician with her way of talking, her fashion sense and taking pot shots at others...

Sonam’s vague words or rather her statements on ‘Koffee with Karan’, reflects the personality of a politician within her. And is quite well aware of how our politicians jump the gun and drop answering uncomfortable questions.

Her repetitive speeches. She has a fondness for repeating whatever she says till one wants to hold the next person and cry out of frustration — just like any other politician. She is a born winner!

And yes, Sonam has got the nerve, too. She has extreme self-confidence level which makes her stand unique in a crowd. She knows how to dress which is extremely important for the present age politicians.

She also has the ‘Kapoor family factor’ of dynasty politics. Everyone is aware that the Kapoor family is similar to the Gandhi clan in size. While the Gandhi family has Rahul, Priyanka and Varun, the Kapoors, too, and are a big dynasty in the Hindi film world. It seems she can get into the sphere of dynasty politics.

Sonam openly stated on ‘Koffee with Karan’ that the only reason she survived in Bollywood was because of her acting credentials. And no one can ever stop her!

While people supported LGBT rights and were glad that Sonam came out in support of the cause. Her statements were vague, “I came out of the closet.” Later, these translated to her support for the community. Only if Sonam would be a bit more precise with her words.

The actress surely knows how to beat competition! While artistes such as Deepika Padukone and Vidya Balan believe in working hard and letting their performance talk, Sonam believes in taking potshots.

And finally she is acting in a political film, ‘Battle for Bittora’

Reportedly, Sonam and her sister Rhea have bought the rights of a book and are adapting it into film screenplay. In the film, Sonam will play a politician. Incidentally, in her last release with Dhanush, she was a founding member of a political group from JNU.
