Ram Leela: Deepika goes traditional in ‘Nagada Sang’ song
As Navrati is round the corner, the makers of ‘Ram Leela’ have released yet another song from the film, titled, ‘Nagada Sang Dhol Baje’. It shows ravishing and more stylish Deepika Padukone doing flawless garba in the new released song. The song falls in the line of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s starrer, ‘Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam’ where Ash danced to the garba song, ‘Dhol Baje’. But the situation in both is songs are different. Aishwarya and Salman danced in a happy mood but here the situation is bit disturbed.
The song sees Deepika dressed in red ghagra, choli with open hair grooving around number of dhols and troupe of female dancers while Ranveer Singh walked towards Supriya Pathak and took a seat by her side. The situation seems bit tensed and Supriya Pathak looks not very impressed with Deepika Padukone. First time the ‘Cocktail’ actress has performed any traditional song and she rocked.
‘Nagada Sang Dhol Baje’ has been crooned by Shreya Ghoshal and Osman Mir. Sanjay Leela Bhansali himself composed the music of the film.
Set in rural Gujarat in violent times, the trailer of the film has impressed not only the audience but megastar Amitabh Bachchan also showered praise over it. Choreographer turned Farah Khan too applauded the trailer.
