Ranveer Singh treats Bhansali with ‘Ghar Ka Khaana’

If the famous say, ‘Dil ka rasta pet se hoke jata hai’ is correct then Ranveer Singh is going in the right track. Due to ‘Padmavati’, the relationship between Ranveer Singh and Bhansali has off late turned sour but the ‘Ram Leela’ actor has made it sure that their their past differences should not affect their upcoming film and so Ranveer is doing every bit to revive their fondness for each other. He has brought home-made food for Bhansali Sir on the set of ‘Padmavati’.

Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Ranveer Singh share a great professional as well as personal relationship. They duo is teaming up for the third time after ‘Goliyon Ki Raasleela: RamLeela’, and blockbuster ‘Bajirao Mastani’. Ranveer treated the filmmaker with some home-cooked Sindhi food from the actor’s house. Sanjay enjoyed the food by cheating on his diet for Ranveer.

Despite his busy schedule, Ranveer Singh was also part of all the festivities at Bhansali’s house including the recently held Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations.

Says a source, “Since the two share such a great equation off-screen, they can’t wait to start work on the movie and given their camaraderie and chemistry, translate it into cinematic magic. Ranveer is excited about the role and is prepping for it in full swing.”

The duo had a heavy showdown when the ‘Bajirao Mastani’ actor asked for ‘Padmavati’ narration to Bhansali. Miffed with Ranveer’s approach, Bhansali was also destined to replace him with an A-lister actor for his next periodic venture.

“Ranveer made the grave mistake of asking Bhansali for a narration. The director feels that the actor owes him his success, and is not in the position to question his judgement. Like Shah Rukh Khan doesn’t ask for a narration from Karan Johar and Aditya Chopra, and Salman with Sooraj Barjatya, SLB felt that the actor should have come on board without hearing the script,” a source reportedly told a leading daily.

It was also heard that Bhansali planned to rope in Hrithik Roshan to enact the role of Alauddin Khilji in ‘Padmavati’, which was supposed to play by Ranveer. If the superhero says yes then it would be the actor’s third periodic drama after ‘Jodhaa Akhbar’ and ‘Mohenjo Daro’.

However, things sorted out between the filmmaker and the actor.
