Ranveer Singh to groove with Govinda in ‘Kill Dil’

Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh is highly ecstatic as he got a bright chance to shake a leg with his idol Govinda in ‘Kill Dil’.

"I am very excited to work with Govinda and he is playing a negative role and its my dream come true to work with him. We also have a dance number together in the film and I am thrilled about it," Ranveer said.

The ‘Ram Leela’ actors is very fond of Govinda and also paid a tribute to him at an award function. Directed by Shaad Ali, `Kill Dil` also stars Rani Mukerjee, Parineeti Chopra and Ali Zafar in the pivotal role.

In ‘Kill Dil’, Govinda will play a baddie for the first time in his long successful career.

“I am going to change. You will see me being very casual…socialising at the first opportunity,” he said.

On a more serious note, he added: “My films have not released since the longest time. I have had enough of my share of tough days. And trust me, it’s not been easy. Don’t you think I need to have my good times back?”

Speaking about his association with Shaad Ali, Govinda said he came close to Shaad during the making of ‘Raavan’. “Shaad and I became very close friends. He had spoken to me about the role at that time. But I really didn’t believe my luck when he recently asked me to do it,” he said.

However, Ranveer Singh will be next seen in YRF’s ‘Gunday’ with Priyanka Chopra and Arjun Kapoor.
