Katrina holds a special place in Ranbir's life
Ranbir Kapoor had recently said that Katrina Kaif held a special place in his life. But the actor is still not open about his relationship with Katrina. Ranbir tells the reason for keeping his love life a mystery.
After the photographs of Katrina and Ranbir holidaying in Spain got viral, the actor is not in a complete denial mode. Ranbir said, “There is so much being said about my personal life. I don't want my life to become a reality show. Yes, Katrina is a very special part of my life.”
The actor says that he has learnt a lot from his past experience. Ranbir dated Deepika padukone before going in a relationship with Katrina. Ranbir said, “When I was in a relationship earlier I spoke about it freely, so the spotlight went away from my work. All I want to say is I don't want my life to be a reality show. I have decided to take it this way.” Ranbir also said, “…when you are going to marry someone, of course I would love the world to know about the person I love.”
He further added, “I think you have to protect that. I will try and protect the mystery of what I have in my personal life.”
Ranbir thinks that in this country there is a lot of judgment regarding relationships.
Ranbir is otherwise cool about what is being talked and written about his personal life as he feels that these things come along with the stardom.
Ranbir said, “You can write anything about me... I may feel bad or good about it as you (media) have created me. I am a media created star. I can't have an opinion now. If I say something there will be 20 different articles and point of views which will again bring negativity in my life. As of now I am happy in my life professionally and personally.”
Ranbir also told that he has no issues with the photographs that were published. He said, “I am actor and when I was growing up I had a favourite actor. I also liked reading about their lives. As an actor you have to be prepared (for it).”
Ranbir was asked if he had any special plans for his birthday, he said, “I hate
celebrating my birthday. I feel there is so much of pressure that if it is your
birthday so it has to be special. I go for dinner with my parents and friends
come home, next day I am on film set. This year I am on a film set so probably
I will cut the cake with media people. Last year I was promoting a film.”
