Ranbir replaces Shahrukh

IPL, Kya Aap Paanchvi Paas Se Tej Hain and films, Shahrukh Khan is doing so many things at a time that 365 days in a year, 7 days in a week and 24 hours in a day seems insufficient for King Khan. Due to constrained time limit, he has to lose many fabulous projects. Unable to give dates, Shahrukh has been replaced by heartthrob Ranbir Kapoor in Shimit Amin’s next film.

Shahrukh and Shimit Amin's duo proved a grand hit in Chak De India and they again thought to create the magic by working together but unfortunately Shahrukh failed to give dates for Shimit's project as Aditya Chopra wants him to shoot for Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi immediately. Due to Aditya’s film, he also has to postpone Karan Johar’s My Name Is Khan.

Though Shahrukh has been the first choice of Shimit, he is not at all disheartened to cast Ranbir as he is the leading star of Bollywood today and has acting potential. Shimit also feels that the role will suit him the best. Ranbir has signed the project and the shooting will commence very soon.
