Ranbir replaces Hrithik, Shahrukh
Ranbir Kapoor has been a style icon. Like films, he is signing products with high pace. He has been the brand ambassador of those products which Shahrukh Khan and Hrithik Roshan were once. By endorsing those products, Ranbir feels honored to take the legacy of the two great actors forward. He had earlier replaced Shahrukh Khan in Pepsi ad and now replaced Hrithik Roshan as John Players brand ambassador.
"As far as replacement is concern, Shah Rukh Khan is a legend and his contribution to Pepsi was immense. I am taking forward his legacy. As far as John Players is concerned, Hrithik Roshan is a style icon for whom I have immense respect. I believe that I am fortunate enough to get a chance to take his legacy forward," Ranbir told reporters after the logo launch of John Players at ITC Hotel here today.
Ranbir maintains that he is not brand conscious and wears clothes that he is comfortable wearing in. "It's not about wearing expensive or brands. It's something that makes you feel comfortable. There are no strict rules. It's about what you want to wear and how you carry it," said Ranbir.
He added, "I am not brand conscious at all. I don't understand fashion. God has been very kind to me that I could sign up with this brand and I hope my knowledge on fashion increases," said Ranbir.
Ranbir is very popular among the youths and he is certain to increase the sale and popularity of the brands to which he is giving his name.
