Ranbir and Kat to play Kishore and Madhubala
Katrina Kaif will play Madhubala opposite Ranbir Kapoor's Kishore Kumar in Anurag Basu's biopic on the late singer. Katrina is very serious for the perfection and has already started watching Madhubala's films, such as Mughal e Azam, Chalti Ka Naam Gadi and Mahal in order to prepare for the role. The makers of the film will recreate the song Ek Ladki Bheegi Bhaagi Si between Kishore and Madhubala in Chalti Ka Naam Gaadi.
Earlier Katrina had signed Anurag's film Silence opposite Ranbir Kapoor. Though, when she learnt that Priyanka Chopra would be playing a pivotal role in the film, she opted out. That has apparently not caused any bad blood between her and the director as they are working together. The marriage of Kishore and Madhubala ended when Madhubala passed away in 1969.
