Rajinikanth offers prayer at Satchidananda Ashram in US
Even as fans are excitedly awaiting the release of ‘Kabali’, superstar Rajinikanth and his elder daughter Aishwarya visited Satchidananda Ashram, also known as Yogaville, in Virginia and offered prayers on Sunday.
Aishwarya, who is also a filmmaker, shared a couple of photographs from the visit on her Twitter timeline and captioned, “Appa n I @ his guru Satchidananda's "Lotus all faiths temple" 30th anniversary Yogaville Virginia #BlessedSunday.”
The 65-year-old actor left for the US a month ago for a health check-up. He is expected to return to the country on Wednesday, July 20 before ‘Kabali’ hits theatres.
‘Kabali’ will see Rajinikanth in the role of an ageing don who runs a school for the children affected by gang wars. The film also stars Radhika Apte, Dhansika, Attakathi Dinesh and Kalaiarasan in pivotal roles. Directed by Pa Ranjit and produced by Kalaipuli S Thanu, the movie is slated to release on July 22.
Rajinikanth will also begin working on director Shankar's ‘2.0’, the sequel to the 2010 sci-fi blockbuster ‘Enthiran’ (Robot) starring Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Danny Denzongpa. The sequel will feature Akshay Kumar as the main antagonist. Amy Jackson, Sudhanshu Pandey and Adil Hussa are also cast in the film which is being simultaneously made in three languages—Tamil, Telugu and Hindi.
