Producer Sajid Nadiadwala and is family have lost their father Abdul Sulaiman Nadiadwala who passed away on Tuesday, September 11. He too was a producer and has produced around 200 films. He started the Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment Company which has produced many film since 1955.
Senior Nadiadwala had been ill since last week and was even admitted to the ICU in Criticare Hospital as he had been complaining of chest pain. He passed away on Tuesday morning. Many from the film industry and son Sajid’s close friends like Salman Khan, Sajid Khan etc were at the funeral procession. Actors Govinda, Ritesh Deshmukh, Arbaaz Khan, director David Dhawan, Aman Varma etc were also present to pay the respects and support Sajid. The film producer Sajid has given many recent hits including his recent hits like Heyy Babyy, Mujhse Shaadi Karoge etc.
Filmmaker Shahrukh Mirza too passed away on 9th September. He has made many films like Mashooq, Salaami and Yaara Dildara. He too had complained of chest pains and was admitted to hospital before he passed away at the age of 60 yrs. Mirza is rembered for his script on the Amitabh-Rakhi starrer Kasme Vaade. He had recently launched his son Rehan Khan in the film Jaana- Let’s Fall in Love. His family is bereaved by his death.
